Just recently, I caught my teenage daughter smoking marijuana with some of her friends. I was furious at first, and I did my best to let all the parents know of what was going on.
It’s their reaction that caught me by surprise. Many of the parents were completely fine with their child abusing this narcotic, calling it just a normal part of growing up. Truth be told, I’m not much of an expert in this area, but isn’t marijuana illegal for a good reason?
My daughter even tried to convince me that it’s impossible to develop an addiction to this “plant”, but is that truly the case? Was I overreacting, or were my actions completely justified? If anything, I think that I wasn’t harsh enough, although now, I’m having some second thoughts about the entire thing…
It’s normal that you’re afraid, especially if you’re talking about your daughter, so don’t worry about whether you were overreacting or not. The important thing is to let your daughter know just how dangerous marijuana can be. You might have heard that many people call it a gateway drug and it’s for a good reason.
While not everyone who tries marijuana will automatically end up with a heroin addiction, it’s a fact that they are putting themselves at major risk. All this for what, half an hour of clouded mind and a slightly improved mood? Give me a break, it’s simply not worth it!

of course that it's not possible inform yourself before you speak! I'm sick and tired of people just spewing gibberish wherever they can. if you took a minute of your time to actually think before you act, you would be far better off
